Yeah....R12 plate on R12X, or the soon to be available Nitro plate.

Is the currently available plate a valid increase in performance or should I wait on the NITRO plate? If so, where can I purchase the currently availble part?

Wait for no one. That's the problem here. Get 'er done.

I have a Jim's (Yamaha Tuner) plate that I am in the process of testing.

Despite foundry issues and test issues for the 4 plate designs, right now I have a proven machining mod I can do now $65 plus shipping. There are dozens of people using it and all like it. (4 years since the first)

But I do also have an addition machining work that can be done to the stock plate. This has only been tested by a few but can work for you to.

As said, waiting only slows you down and that’s not what this place is about . more that help out the better the results.

The cream will rise to the top.
