Ultra 250 less than an hour and its dead

Had it out one time about a month ago at Havasu
briefly when we picked it up.

Took it out today, throttled up out of no wake zone and
it died. Tries to start and occassionally runs briefly. Smoke
comes from rear of engine compartment.

Less than an hour old and my new Ultra 250 is dead.

At least the Sea Doo RXT we bought at the same time
    still runs.

Seriously thinking of trading the Ultra 250 for a second
    Sea Doo.

    You guys made my day.

I just went out and pulled off that rear
cover and sure enough, exhaust hose popped
    off.

Is the only way to reattach it to squirm around
in there as necessary or is there a trick (meantime
I'm going to surf this forum if someone already
    knows a trick to this)?

I can do it either way.

    Thanks guys!

Spray it with windex and then slide it back on. Make sure the clamp is tight. The windex helps it slide on and then drys without any residue. This is an issue with most of the kawi makes 12F's and 15F's too. Mine has never popped off.....yet.

All fixed. Starts easy, runs, revs on trailer.

Almost want to call in sick tomorrow.

    Thanks again!
