    Help! Virage TX exhaust/cooling problem

I have a 2001 Virage TX. It melted resonator 1 and 2 and the crossover hose. Took it to a dealer who replaced said parts and put on a pop off.
I believe this to be the thermostat? Anyway, the dealer said they water tested for 15 minutes and said it to be fixed. Paid just at $450. Took the ski to the lake and water tested it for 5 minutes and more smoke in the engine compartment. Melted resonator 1 and 2 again and warped the crossover hose. I believe they were already melted before I took it out. Has anyone had this problem before? Need Help!!!

Patrick ,No water through the exhaust .You will find that there is very lttle paint left on the main pipe too .Check the Water lines to the exhaust and you will find the problem and hence the solution .
Looks like the next set of hoses is on them .Hope you havent toasted your engine

Like Bernie said... no water through exhaust.

Check the line that runs from the top of your pipe to the bottom. Pull #9 out of the top and make sure the screen and orifice are clear. Also check the line (#11) and check valve too. (#12)

Thanks CrazyA it was #12 that was causing all the headache. It ran great and for more than 5 minutes.
