    HOME-MADE THROUGH-HULL EXHAUST

No not for my rxp, but for my polaris 1200. I already bought the accellerator kit for $540, includes 3 billet alum heads, water box, prop, and a wedge. My work has been slow lately, so Iv'e been tinkering around the garage, and came up with the idea of a through-hull exhaust. Cost $10 and two hrs labor.

I like the idea, BUT hopefully those pipes have a flare,or bead of weld at each end, or they could blow off, an sink that ski fast!! I know from experience! I put a piece of pipe where the resonator was,(on my RXP) and it blew the hose off an sunk it so fast I couldnt swim it to the shore.

be careful, and nice job.... Psycho RXP

I tried the same thing with the same result during mid Oct. just because I didn't want to spend the $20 for the resonator. Bye the way I got my resonator in yesterday. It better not sink again.

Well did not test yet, for it is still to cold out. I got a few more months. As far as the plumbing comming off, well I put silly-coned around the pipes then give it a good clamping down, I should be fine. Couldn't find anything to make it look nice on the outside, I'll come up with something though.
