    Fastest Wrench at the Bug

To those who dont know, thursday evening, Jims1300 smoked a #1 piston on his GP. Surprisingly someone brought a piston to the bug and sold it to Jim. Working in the sun friday afternoon at Diorons boat ramp, and with little more than rock and a sharp stick to work with, and no new gaskets, Jim took his engine down, replaced the piston, honed the cylinder, and was on the water riding his ski in around 3 hours time. The ski ran great, no leaks, and Jim proceeded to run a 78.8 in the radar run with it saturday morning! My hats off to ya Jim.. Awesome job!

    Ross,

Why were you grinding the pump ?

Jim can do it all. Thanx to the secret santa who had the piston.

When Jims ski broke, he loaned out his nozzle thinking he wouldnt need it since his ski was broken. He had another nozzle which wasnt ground for plate clearance on his ski. So i simply used to 10 grit concrete to grind meat off the nozzle for clearance..
