    New Member from Albany, NY!

Been reading this forum for quite awhile and finally decided to join and post!

I've been riding pwc's since 98, started with a 97 GTX, 99 GTI. Moved to an RXT in 05 which recently suffered serious engine damage on the first ride of the season thanks to a sc clutch failure. Current boat is an 06 Maya Gold RXP. No pics yet since I haven't picked it up from the dealer.

Anybody else on here ride the Hudson River near Albany/Selkirk or Great Sacandaga Lake?

    -Mike

    Welcome.

We should doo an upper Hudson ride. My best freind lives in L.A. (lower Albany) and my mom in Bethlehem. I'm up that way quite a bit.

To avoid problems like you had with your rxt get those ceramics out of that rxp soon as you get it.

Yeah for real. I'll probly switch them out as soon as possible (after break in maybe?). The RXT only had 48.5 hours on it and showed no signs of impending failure...although as soon as it slipped once I knew exactly what was up. What really sucks is that as soon as the cover and sc were off the tech only found about 25% of one of the two washers, so its anybodys guess where they went. Oh well...lesson learned.

Was that you with the truck pulling the 05 green rxt a couple weeks back? If so, I saw you LOL. The reason I remember is because that's the only SC ski I've seen in Delmar other than mine.

I'm on Harrison Ave.. about 5 minutes away from you. You'll have to stop by some time so we can put some performance parts on your ski

Yeah the white ranger...that was me. Green RXT...heading down to Henry Hudson. That was my first time out with it this season...got it warmed up headed down toward Castleton...rolled on the throttle...and nothing but slip. Idled back to the launch.

I'm pretty sure I know where Harrison Ave is. Off Elsmere Ave right?

I have to pick the new boat up tomorrow and I'll probly run it down to the river right away.

I'll PM you my info if you're ever around.
