Just a few questions.
I put about 2.5 hours on the new RXP this weekend and it is a blast! Can't wait to get the break in period over with. I do have a few though questions and comments though.
The dealer told me that the RXP has some kind of limiter that limits the performance of the ski for the first 5 hours. It is not in the owners manuals nor is it advertised, but he told me that it was meant for the people who do not intend to break it in properly. Any thoughts on this? Or was the dealer just BSing me?
What mods are there to ease up on it being such a wet ride? I don't mind getting wet, but this thing is almost too much.
I plan to get a GPS sooner or later, but until then, how far off is the "dream-o-meter" to the actual speed?
Well I think that is it for now.

I have heard that rumor before too and my opinion is its total BS!
The wet ride can be cut down by putting on a BSD (bow spray deflector)
I use the Jet Trim brand and it has a cool flammed design on it. It works very well.
The speedo is not that far off at top speed, but if you are actually doing 68 on GPS it will probably show that you are doing 70 on the dreamometer
Most RXP speedometers won't even read past 70 even if you are doing well over that.

My dealer programmed both keys on my 2002 gtx-di to operate learner mode. He said it was an accident, but the other dealer that fixed the keys thought otherwise.
