Sure there is....but what good will it do...you still have to wait till after the first of the year to get one. Besides who knows how much of the info would be "hype" like it was with Kawis Ultra 250. If you really want performance that won't be toned down to fit the whim of the USCG, the 2008 Hydrospace runabouts will be the hot tickets in 2008.

I might wait for one. Nobody wants to buy an older model when the new one is right around the corner. I have been torn between the HO Cruiser and the Ultra 250. A new Yamaha with some more HP and a newer updated hull would be a great compromise. What do you think?

Buy a used Gp1300R, from the classifieds section, and sell it when the new skis come out next year. (or trade it in on the new models).
Then u get the enjoyment ASAP '=)

lets face reality.... We all could buy a RXP or a 250... why havent we..... well because we like our GPR's toooo much! Yamaha will NOT build a replacment for the gpr, only a BIG brother!

Just my opinion and my gprs are not going anywhere fo a long time!

Im down with a big brother as long as its not tooooo big. I am talking 2 seater with the same styling, can be heavier by 100lbs but it better have a 250+ hp motor in it with the same hull design.

Guys, ever heard of power to weight.

    Thats all that counts.

DO that math, thats one of the things that makes the GPR better than the RXP.
