    Question on VF'3....

Pulled my reeds last night (VF'3) they have about 20 hours on them and they still look new!!! my question is I remember someone saying that the stuffers can fail??? Should I leave them out? is there any rpm loss to leaving them out? what kind of failer are people getting (if any)

    Thanks

    Yeah, take them out.

I didn't see any noticeable or measureable difference with them out. Carl and Fercho both told me to yank em.

some of the fellows were matching the ports and the stuffer would not hold up as the plastic sides were too thin to support itself in place... others use em' still...
Carl included these on the 760/1200 conversion set and never mentioned the possiblity of leaving em out..
must be an issue with the larger ports on the gpr motor's ...

IMT your bottom end may suffer slightly .. top end It shouldnt make too much of a difference one way or the other

I just replaced my pedals and left the stuffers out.

I noticed quite a difference in the midrange snap.

I dont know if it was because of the new pedals or removing the stuffers.
