    Hot weather speeds?????

What kind of speeds are you guys getting now that temp are up and water temps are over 80 degrees?

I rode mine yesterday with full tank and got 66.5, rpm's are also down. But the good thing is all of them (different model and makes) will be loosing speed.

I ran a 69.4 (full tank of fuel)down in Louisana, it was close to 90* and the humidty was higher than that,Yesterday here in Tennessee(90*+and @ 50% humidity), with a half a tank of fuel I ran a 69.8. RPM's were 7820-60.

Harry, you need to come to Santee for a weekend and show me what I am doing wrong. I am not getting the rpm's that you are getting so I am not getting anywhere near the speed.

Yea, I read your thread. I have done Jim's plate, ram air mod and pump wedge. I still cannot get the rpm's some others are getting. It may just be my ski. Thanks for all of the help.

I'm not sure I know what you are talking about when you say gullett, is that inside of the intake grate. No I have not added any extra air holes, where did you do it so as not to get water inside? I have been looking trying to see where I could do that.

The difference could be in the impellers guys. 1 mm here or there could drastically affect rpm's. Most props from the factory are never "true" to begin with..just a thought
