Install of riva intake grate On RXP
I just received my intake grate. I'm in the process of installing it. I noticed from the factory they have black gasket silicone. What gasket silicone do u recommend or can i use so i can scrape the old stuff off so it fits flush. I'm not filling in the ride plate holes just installing the intake grate,.
Also i will be using red loctight on the bolts.

Most use right stuff. but if you dont want to spend the extra $$ you can use regular permatex black RTV silicone. It works fine. Just let it dry at least 24 hrs before it hits water.

Use red loctite But DO NOT overtighten the bolts Tourque them to spec if possible.

I don't think there is any speed loss on a close to stock or stock ski, but there is actually a speed gain on a ski running 75 or better
