Angry new SS and cavitation...need help!

ok, i just put the new SS in the pump, everything lookd good. i vent out to the Potomac for a tes ride and not good. from mid to top end is AMAZING, from the stop if i naild it "cavitation" big time, forgett jumping out of the whol....hmm hmm....just vibrating and no jumping out of the water, i would say maybe 8 out of 10 times, the other 2 times is fantastic.
I am thought less, i dont know what the problem could be.

    top end rpm was 7950

    please lets solve this problem
    thanks

Check and make sure that the pump was installed evenly. Also make sure the nozzle is tight I know this may sound silly but Ive done it myself.

these things are weird. I have cavitation 1 out of every 10 times I take off. These pumps must be perfect.

pet- How many hours do you have on the RXP? It sounds like an alignment issue! Do you have a worn front motor mount?

SBT on the web sells a Sea-Doo alignment tool but you need to fab the shoe plate to fit (150 bucks) or find someone like Jerry who will rent out the Sea-Doo alignment tool to ya! Jerry did a great thread on this when he pulled his wife's pump shoe and check the alignment. Do a board search on pump shoe alignment!

if some of the fins on the pump support are broken then you need to file them all flat, that can also cause cavitation..
