    Parts

I need some advice on some parts. I found a new fuel valve at Atlantic Powersports for $27 (7052063) but is there an after market valve that would be better? I had a fuel issue and was getting tired of not being able to put it on the water due to rain so I finally wenty out today anyways and everything run fine when I bypassed the fuel valve selector.

One last thing can someone recomend some good spark plugs. These parts are for an 94 sl 750.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Ron, there are some aftermarket valves that you can probably get to fit but for the 27 bucks and your Green Hulk discount, I'd spend the bucks for a factory fit and look.
As I recall the newer valves don't have the same issues as the older units.

There are cheaper valves, but they are that, cheaper. I think they're made of plastic. Someone used a Sea Doo valve for there SL, maybe $15. Spark plugs for that should be a NGK BPR7ES, but most feel those run too hot. So they recommend using the NGK BPR8ES.

    NGK BR8ES works fine in a 750

Thank you all for the responses.

I was concerened about ordering the same valve, but it great to know they are made better. I am not worried about spending the few extra bucks as long as I know I wont run into the same issue.

As far as spark plugs when I bought the ski I had picked up some cheap plugs from wally world but since lost the receipt and never installed them due to the threads I have read here. But in the end I am glad I never did use them but instead got first hand advice from yall.

Consider the valve from Atlatic power sports and plugs ordered.

    Thanks a bunch

    Ron

edit* Im trying to do a search for part number NGK BR8ES or NGK BPR8ES and neither are found on Atlantic's site. Also between Polaris Nut#1 post and xlint's post there are 3 different numbers. Which would be best. There are no mods to this ski that I know of.

I found them but can someone clarify which one is the best. Im guesing the BPR8ES are what is best. Im not sure but I think PN#1 had a typo and left out the "P"?

Don't forget to mention that you are a Green Hulk member for the 10% discount.
