    GTX Firing Problem

Once and a while our 1996 GTX starts on one cylinder. So we stop the motor and start it up again and it runs on both cylinders. Has any one had this problem and how was it fixed? Thanks

sounds like your rectifier. it is in the front grey box. it has 3 yellow wires and a red one. disconnect the red wire and see if it runs ok. if so, that is your problem. they tend to go on the 96 and 97 models. don't run it too long as your battery will not be charging.
