    Stage 1 questions

have a new 2005 GTX SC with about 15 hours and was thinking of some modifications to do when the warrenty runs out. I have a thing not to mess with anything while it is under warrenty. I was looking into a stage 1 upgrade and was wondering if that was a good start, how long does it take to put in, or is there anything else that would be better. What I want to do is make sure I am faster then my brothers {1 has a 2001 GTX and 1 has a 2003wake GTX} and my friend that has 2 2003 GTX SC but is putting a new inpeller on one. Any suggestion is appricated

A Riva stage 1 kit would be a good start. Most dealers wouldn't even think of not honoring your warranty with this kit.

If you have some mechanical skills the kit should be easy for you to do. Probably about 4 hours for the install.

Thanks GH 4 hours dont sound bad with me it would be about a good weekend just to make sure I don't FO Now to get the better half to go for it maybe I could use some of tax return. About how much top end would I gain?

Im not sure how much top end you would gain on a GTX, but i know on the RXP you would see 70-71mph.... some even 72 mph on a good day.

You will definately notice the performance increase.

    05,
If you want to go faster than your brothers, quit using the learner's key
While your beggin', go for the intercooler that you didn't want to buy last summer. I believe you said, "185 horsepower is plenty"! By the way, who's trailer ya gonna use?
