DO '05 RXT's HAVE ANY PROBLEMS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking of buying an '05 RXT w/ 37 hours. I read that is the first year for the 215 horse. Some of them are having problems with the superchargers. I heard the problem was resolved with the '06 model. Can anybody educate me a little on this year and model PWC...Thanks

replace the supercharger washers w/ jerry's washers and you should be all set...... other than that can't think of anything else they have problems with

Replace the ceramic washers with metal ones and you should be fine, depending on if the orginal washers are still in there. 06 & 07 models have the same problem just like the 05 do, they just have a beefer SC shaft.

Welcome to the HULK!!!!!!
You will need to replace the S/C washers as they do come apart on all years, over time and where they end up is not a good place for them.

see if you can check the dealer history for a previous washer failure, and what was done with it.
Some people/dealers just slap em together without cleaning the engine of debris, and boom, instant destruction on the next unsuspecting owner. This is the only situation that would really scare me in buying a used (unknown) supercharged ski.

Before you buy it make sure the ceramic washers are in working order.
DON"T GET SCREWED
It has happened to people on this board
