If ski breaks down, quest for ya?

I'm new to polaris but on my Seadoo if the ski broke down and i was being towed in by another ski/boat i used to have to vise grip a hose to avoid water going into motor. Do i have to do anything if my 99 SLTH 700 breaks down and needs to be towed in??

It's pretty much the same on all ski's, block the water inlet hose.

I put a one way valve in the water intake line. Just incase im ever towed i dont have to worry about flooding out my engine.

I like putting on a strainer, cut off valve, and a extra flush fitting in.
