    Polaris Ride plate

Hey all, newbie here. I have a 95 650 and a 96 SL780. Can I use an extended ride plate on a ski that does not have an extended pump?
    I'm having porpoising issues...

Yes, but be carefull. It took off almost 3 mph on top end, make sure your ok with that trade. One the other side, it is a lifesaver in chop

paper, we had a 93 SL750 with a short plate, went to the extended plate and no 3 MPH speed loss.
    Were you using a wedge?
You have the extended pump or short when you made your run?
