Question 2004 RXP ECU - Supercharger Washers?

Ok.. Heres the deal.. Had quite a few 2 strokes, decided to go with the 4stroke 215 RXP(2004). First time in the water, got my buddy on the RXP I was in the truck, short story he sucked up a rock. Anyways.. New impeller and wear ring. Not too happy, but sh*t happens.

Next weekend.. I run it for 20 mins shut it down and it wont start. I get a 0232 code. Fuel Pump 12v Short. Dealer tells me the fuel pump and wiring are OK. SO I need a ECU.. anyone see this before?

Next question. Should I change the supercharger washers on a stock RXP? It has 40 hrs on it. I'm just reading about it and dont want any more unforseen breakdowns.. THanks a bunch

The very first thing you should do to your ski is upgrade to the metal clutch washers.

I would change the washers. Mine failed on my 05 RXT at 48.5hrs on the first ride of the season!

What are you replacing these washers with? Aftermarket? from who? I just took the plunge and ordered a new ECU, I couldnt wait for the shipping, big weekend planned, got it overnight from BRP.. Thanks for the offer

Best $90 you will spend on your ski, hands down.

i know it would be good for it. but how can u charge $90 on 2 metal washers? they look like you can just go to home depot or ace and get some for $1.00. What makes them worth $90?

2 reasons they cost so much:
    1) People have to make money
    2) They are not your regular hardware store washers. They go through a process that requires time, money and is tedious.

Yes, the $90 is for two.

If you bought the old Riva ones you may think they were actually made of gold.
