    Deal on double trailer.

Well after I loaded up the Honda on my double trailer it did not look right, so I ordered a new almn. trailer for the skis. With my trade in it was only going to cost me $500. So I had them order me one. Will I go to pick it up today, and the manafacture was out of stock on the one that I orderd. Well with some pushing from the great salesman that I had, he had them ship us a Triton Elite Double trailer, about a $900 upgrade!!!! The bigest differance is that it has torsion bar suspention vs spings, it dose have a lot of little things. It pulls like a dream with the torsion bars and it dose not yank the Explorer up and down when we go over bumps. I think if I ever buy another trailer it will have to have torsion bar suspension. I will take some pics tomarrow.

Cool! My new double shore lander that came with my Yami is a torsion bar also I really don't see allot of them and not even sure what if any the benefit is other than the leaf spring style seem to rust at the spring pack! yours must be light as a feather/ Z

Torsion bar is indepndent suspension. So it rides much better that a Leaf spring solid axle, it also tows straighter and dose not bounce all over the road like spring suspension. The ride for the skies is not as harsh as a spring type suspension. Trailer weight with torsion bar is 365 lbs. Max cargo weight is 2335 lbs. Weight with spring suspension is 290 LBS, with a 2210 cargo weight. This trailer is built really well, and is really adjustable, even the keel stops and wrenches are adjustable. I am thinking I can rig up some mounts for the bikes and use the trailer for the skis and the bikes, or a combo of the two.

I have owned three tritons, I currently own two.

I love them, and would buy nothing else.

I have the double model you were supposed to get, and I love it, so I bet that one you have is amazing...I might need to get one.

Triton......Hands down the best in my opinion!! My single place Triton lite floats downstream when I back it in the river. I need to keep my eyes peeled for good deals on a double triton as I'm sure I'll have another ski sometime.
