    R&D intake grate?Top End Gains?

I have a 2000 GP1200R will a R&D intake grate make it faster on top end or just help it hook out of the whole and on rough water? What mods will give me more top end?I was thinking in the lines of air filter tripple pipes and a R&D ECU.What will give me the best top end gain?

Hey the 14/20 impeller is the best choice...do you have aftermarket impeller?

Seal the pump first thing.A 1200 grate with the stock ride plate will give you great rough water hookup.Assuming everything else on the ski is in stock form. The stock grate will be faster. If you plan on further modding your ski,get rid of the stock grate.

A 14/20 will be a little too much prop to turn with no engine mods. A 13/19 would be a good prop choice. If you decide to go with a prop order a 14/20 and have it pitched to a 13/19 though.

Replace the stock grate with the R&D 1200 grate. The stock grate has been known for "chunking" people off at higher speeds and will cause injury.

Sealing the pump = Pump plug kit. They are available thru the online store on this site. Look in the tool bar on the left and there is a link to the store.

Hi,I really like the looks of the filter kit and the ride plate. What kind of gains do you get from this stuff? Is it worth it?What about the free flow exaust? What else do you have to do to it?Is the R&D ECU module worth it?Does it work like a Rev box does on the Four wheeler?Sorry about questions I will be out on the water this weekend so I wont be bugging you.LOL
