    alittle more info:

    Reed cage and reeds found
    triple outlet fuel pump ordered
    primer kit ordered
    all new fuel line found
    fuel switch rebuilt
    inside hull cleaning inprogress

motor rebuild in progress , parts required. (crank , and possisbly top end)

    exterior paint. inprogress

now question time for all you engine builders. im getting around .009" piston to cyl. clearance. shop book calls for a max of .008" cylinder bores look in good shape. should i order new rings and pistons of the same size or rebore and order the next size up? piston ring end gaps are outside of spec too.

anyone have a crankshaft for me?

    another question so soon

is it ok to run different sized piston/cylinders on one engine/ like stock on the pto , and mag/cen .5mm over? i know there different weights but can it be done safely?

If your clearances are out of spec already, you know the answer. Different sized pistons are OK to use (no more than 1 mm difference) but not really recommended. You can score a whole kit and gaskets for under $300, why chance it for that, unless you're REAL tight on $$$?

Nice looking 750. You can run out of spec and know it may not last long then do it again later the "correct" way??

In all fairness I have to tell you we had this 750 that seized due to a bad fuel switch, well we threw another piston in it and didn't even hone the cylinder (we were at Shasta vacationing). Not only did it last the trip but we though it was so funny we kept running it, 96 hours later she broke apart.
