None at all. In fact, i have them to improve top speed from eliminating the porpoising.

cooool. Jerry, if I pump the pump wedge back on what will the ride be like? Stock the thing just bounces around in the chop. Will it be any better with the RE's?

Just make sure you line them up correctly. Make sure there isn't a step down from the hull to the bottom of the OPAS blockoff. I've tinkered with my Riva pro blocks and tried a very small step up from the hull to the OPAS block and some of the porpose came back. Just make sure they're as flush with the hull as possible.

Put it back on, run the trim one click above center, go 1 mph faster, and no bouncy with RE'S..

I thought the hull is supose to stick down a little past the re's. in the back I that was the "hook" as they would call it.

The HOOK is a curvature in the hull...

I put mine on the best I could. They are basically as flush as I could get them. Used a lot of "Right Stuff" to eliminate the seams. We will see. I will test her out this weekend. I think I will test it tomorrow without the wedge then Sunday with the wedge. I really hated that wedge before. I scares me lol!

No scrub here, just a better, straighter ride.
And then he invented skegs. I swear I gained .5 mph.
