Custom Made Sportster Flag Holder (Fits Into Ski Post)
Here are some pics of my custom made flag holder that locks into the stock Ski post on my 06 Sportster. I used a stainless steel shower curtain rod holder,2 eye hooks,2 Lock Nuts and 2 key rings to mount the flag. After I seen how much $ marine stores wanted for flag holders I decided to create my own. It is designed to fly the 12"x18" marine flags and is removable so you can put your ski post back in anytime you want. I might make a few more and sell them if anybody is interested but I want to test it out on the water tomorrow first.

Looks good, let us know how it does. Was thinking of a way to fly a Jolly Rogers.

Tested My Custom Made Sportster Flag Holder Today!
The new flag holder I made for my 06 Sportster worked perfectly..I'm really happy with the design. It holds up nicely even at top speed 50MPH. I even left it on for the trailer ride to the water and and home and it holds up great.
Here is a pic of the new holder and flag in action on the water today.

Thanks for waking up my thread from the dead!
I bought the Jolly Rodger flag at boaters world but you can get all different ones on ebay.
