I made my own thru-hull on my xp. I used the stock cross-over pipe that originally went to the sound supressor but i used a 90 degree elbow made form stainless steel and that went out to a thru-hull fitting on the left side (as you are looking at the rear of the ski. I can get pics and a sound clip for you by saturday.

I used regular stainless steel exhaust tubing and had it mandrel bent by an exhaust shop. It came out really nice. I will post pics this weekend.

I used a pipe fitting and a 96 xp exhaust outlet hose and it worked great. The only thing is that it is a real bitch to get at the battery. What I mean by a pipe fitting is a one way so you can attach the old hose to the new 96 outlet hose. I didnt see much of a difference in performance at all just alittle bit of noise.

well if i did it, im not expecting any performance, just while the motor is pulled for rebuild, might has well do it so she can moan a lil louder!

I also want to put the R&D high compression head on, do i have to rejet the carbs? to what?

and any suggestions on real good aftermarket pistons?
