Green Hornet ... what was wrong?
You posted in another thread that you are happy you found your 5 mph loss ... but I have not read anywhere what it was. What happened, and what caused your 5 mph loss?

Sorry vern I didn't see this thread. Well after checking and replacing and checking and cleaning and checking and getting mad, I decided to go ride my sj, which by the way hit a new top speed of 46mph don't know how or why I haven't done anything new to it weather condidtions the same it normally only goes 44mph, and then FINALLY, I had not noticed it before I overlooked it worrying about other things, my impellor cone had some how broke loose. I sprayed and greased the area where the driveshaft connects to the impellor and tightened it back up. That is the only thing that I see wrong. That and a stator fin that needed to be filed down so I did that and I also did the bucket mod and it now seems to hold that speed a little bit more consistent now. 74-75mph.

Got it, glad to hear you are back up to speed! So the impeller cone coming loose cost you a few mph? Hmm, something to keep an eye on ...
