    just a thought...
Ross wouldnt have any issues with cooling because he is relieving pump pressure that doesnt involve cooling water.

Jeff was refering to the pump strainer idea.

If you do the 800 grate and just concerened with top speed only,,,, well looks like it works ok, but with a 1200 grate looking for holeshot if the valve leaks any at all. gets a little peice of stick, leaf or something. and they do leak after a while then the basic water pump rules apply and it will cavitate. You could also hide that type of thing.

What would be realy neat is something that causes no speed loss, increase holeshot, and is self regulating in how much pressure to relieve as it goes dependent on vacum of water passing underneath the boat due to speed also being influencd by pressure in the tunnel.

Now for a thing of beauty that I experienced this week end. Never before seen or felt... for me,never believed it would ever happen.........

12 to 13 gallons of fuel zero, none, nada, oh and did I say none

CAVATION on a 280+ "guess" HP triple pipe bigbore. I could not belive it!!!!!!!
Hooked up in the chop. Hooked up everywhere. It was a blast to say the least.

Like I heard someone say once DON'T belive the hype

P.S. jetworks valve I ruled out along with about 2 other Ideas that I had.
None would do all the things I was looking for well except for the one that was done.

Is it fair to people who paid to publish the info for free?

Is there some problem with getting paid for neck risking back braking work?

I guess not. It does bother me for you to call it your method when its been around for a decade.
I paid for your package as well thinking it was something new.

The way I have decided to bleed pressure seems to me a little more adjustable and closer to the top of the tunnel where most of the damage occurs.

Ross wasn't trying to sell anything or attack anybody so I don't see the reason for your post.

Ross, where did you get the socket head bolts for the pump? That would be great for the bottom 2 by the rideplate.

Not sure what size you need Duke, but www.mcmaster.com and www.mscdirect.com have all kinds of screws. Good prices too. we use them all the time at work.
