Early Pics of Mud Bug IV Conversion Ski

After hearing all the great stories about this years Mud Bug, my daughter has taken a serious interest in watercraft.

To have a shot at next years title she has asked me to start working on her latest "Super Lightweight" conversion ski.

I am thinking about borrowing Jerry's firebreathing motor, asking Mark to set the motor mounts, getting one of Dan's rideplates and having Skat Trak make me a special plastic 3 blade impellor pitched for speed.

If any of you have other ideas, please don't hesitate to reply to this post.

With less than 340 days left before Mud Bug IV, I've got to get going.

Yea I used to run one of those but at about 5 mph it tends to make me drop my beer so I sold it to the kid next door for a 12 pack!

Absolutely, and we might want to go with Jerry's washer and ceramic bearings. The RE block offs are on my wish list.

We might want to make the mounts out of aluminum, so it doesn't sink from just the weight of the mounts.
