    Lets play two stroke detective

    Customer says its got a fouled spark plug.

    Can you guess what happed to cause this. tripple pipe boat.

    I would say its either water ingestion or its running to lean.

    What motor? Power valve?

    And if he brought it to a dealer that tells you he know nothing about ski's. So his word is a bad guess at best.

    Thats the exaust side of the piston so I would guess maybe the ring snagged the valve?

    The debris beat the hell out of the piston crown so its kinda hard to tell what happened first. Sometimes when a mechanical failure occurs and is forced to keep running it overheats and appears to be something else.

    Leaned out then detonation finished it. The question is why did it go lean.

    Dind Ding Ding we have a winner. BUT how can we tell whether it was lean or water injestion. What would be the things to look for?

    Good input so far from everyone.

    Hint look closley at the piston for the first clue
