    VAC/BOOST leak test....propane

i usually use propane to find my vac leaks but i think i might have a small boost leak, any of you guys have sucess using propane with her cranked on the trailer? (rpm will jump a few with introduction of propane)
not sure if my leak if any, will be big enough though.

As I recall... Propane is heavier than air... which would be a really bad thing since it would sink / fill the bilge with propane...

I tried injecting propane into a kart once and it bogged the motor. But to answer your question, no it wont work. The boost leak is what it is,,,boost. Meaning not vacuum. It will not suck in your test gas rather blow it outward. Smoke works. Use a cigarrette.
