    Cracked my engine open *Pics*

    These engines are surprisingly easy to take apart.

    Jerry How where the bearings? the head? And what are the have nots gonna have to DOO to keep up to the Joneses? What do you think you need as far as mods go and how does this fit into possible future mods?

    Pretty easy I know...Putting them back is a wee different though..

    I would like to see a close up off the rod bearings, all six halves. no reason other than curious as to how they look knowing the life they have lived. Also would be good to know how close the big end of the rods are to spec., i.e. if they have stretched any in this relatively short life.

    The engine looks fantastic for having 145 hard hours on it. The rod bearings look great. I'll get a pic of those tomorrow.

    The reason i ripped it apart was to go with some lighter valves, more extensive port work, hopefully titanium valve spring retainers (if they are ready) and JE pistons. Trying to get it ready for the EMS system.
