ok computer guru's is this a deal now??
I hope I remember this stuff correctly.....
Intel pentium 4 duel core 3 gig processor...
200 gig hard drive
1 gig ram
16 xduel layer DVD somthing or other...
tv tuner card..
sound blaster audigy2
No monitor..no speakers..no programs...I have a disk with media centre..and a 27" LCD

Not bad but the stock video must be weak and you want a dual core athlon over a dual core pentium...

What are you saying on the gfx card?
For encoding/decoding intels proform better..but i would prefer amd over intel...

What use do you want to make of the machine?
At 500$ the graphic chipset is most like integrated to the motherboard or a best some cheap NVidia FX 5600 or ATI X600...
Not even close to gaming requirements, you'll need at least a 6800 GT or X800 to play current games, and those go for more than half the price of your machine.
You'll also want more RAM, 1 Gb is the minimum today...
You got a link or at least a model number to that machine?

Any way i bet that shit is stolen and the theift wiped it clean and is trying to make some easy money...you would be hard pressed to find the cpu and the gfx card for 500.

512 is the min 1 gb is better 2 gb or more is best!!!

actually over 1 gig is pointless unless you go to 4 and turn file swaping off
