    2005 Pump swap questions...

At what point (mod wise) would a swap to a 05 pump setup be beneficial on a 02 GPR? Here are the main mods:

    Riva Head
    Jetworks
    FF
    Flame arrestors
    rejet
    13/19
    Island 4 plate
    1200 grate
    sealed pump and shoe

My next mods will likely be VF3's and possibly some more timeing somehow... at what point should I swap to the new pump and what impeller should I get? I have been told that without more mods I won't be able to pull a 14/20 dynafly... suggestions??

If you get the reeds I think you will be able to pull the pump and prop.

My unported 1200 does just fine and has the stock ignition, no keyway.

I don't really know how to explain this but it may have something to do you refracting so much light that the sun is actually slowing you down.

I have the 05 pump with a box stock Dynafly on my stock 01 it has the D-plate, carb rejet w/ proks, 150 PSI cut OEM head, 1200 grate. This pulled it to 71.4 with the J-FF plate. I am heading back to the river this week and will be installing 800 grate and VF-III's I will be getting numbers pre and post of each installation.

You must have a smaller pitched Dynafly out of box I would think. Nice numbers.
