    Exclamation Ski like boucing

    my ski is boucing in falt calm water i has to go forward instead of super man lol but with puttin washer in the plate wud the help..

    Are you using the stock plate or an after market one. And what mods have you done to the ski.

    plate

    i have the riva racing plate and i have intake grate pump seal R&d turing nozzle.but liek and top enf the ski bouces wat do i have to do to help that i ride in mostly rough so puttin washers does that help hook up 2

    You can add some shimms to the back of the plate that will help with the bounce.

    Start with 40 thousands on each side in the rear and if more is needed work you way up.

    Jim, my ride buddy has the same issue on his 06 HO. We waterski a lot, so ride two up and towing. We find that the HO continually bounces even on almost flat water. Altering the trim one click stops it initially, but it soon starts again, so we are continuously changing the trim to stay level. The ski is stock, so will shimming the rear of the ride plate help, or do we have to replace with an aftermarket plate?
    I assume 'rear' means closest to the pump outlet?

    Hello Orrible, Yes it will help on the stock plate too. You are correct closest to the pump outlet. If you ride with 2 people a lot start with 50 to 60 thousands that should be a good starting point.
