What gains switching to a Vortex Impeller on my RXT?
I currently have a stage I RXT which clocked a reasonable 67.8mph the other day, my dealer will fit a vortex for £375 all in.
What speed gains am I going to be looking at do you think?

You won't notice much speed increase on top end, but you will definately feel the acceleration difference

So it's mostly a torque/mid-range package...

Yep, you will love that sc impeller. It makes a big difference.

Might have to get it in then!
Am I right in assuming it will suit my 14/19 solas better?.. I cannot quote rpm's at the moment, because my dash has been out of use for 6 months!

Yes, the 14/19 will work perfectly with your added power.

I know it gives me better acceleration with a 14/17 prop and tachs at 8050 to 8100 in salt and I bump the rev limiter in fresh.

Sorry, I did not publish my upgrades because I'm a 48yr young computer dummy.

69 on salt, I'll be happy with those figures mate! Hopefully I'll not get the rev limiter issues like you on fresh...but I'm hardly on lakes now...
