    Just picked up a 95 xp (720)

    Well i just picked up a 95 xp for my friends or girlfriend to ride. Needs a little work. compression was only at 90 for each cylinder. so i just started to take the top end off. Everything looks original surprisingly since the oil injection is still on. Well the pistons look good and same with the cylinders rings look stretched and worn besides that the crank looks great i think I'm just going to replace the rings and call it a day and see how it runs. What do u all recommend. The other thing i noticed on the head on one of the domes i noticed one was pitted and the other one looks original. no pits. Ski did fire just not turn over spark was good just to me looks like bad compression. I will remove the oil injection and possibly redue the carbs going to see how it runs first.I got a good deal on the thing with a trailer i only have title for ski trailer im going to just call it homemade. I would like to get a double so i can tow it with the rxp. let me know what u think about options.

    Bomb, the comp seems very low but could be due to a low battery.

    The pits in the dome had to come from somewhere. With the head off can you mic the clynders for size and out-of-round?

    Sorry to hear that. The holes should be ~140psi.
