84.8 mph on my big bore GPR!

Just thought I'd share my excitement with my RXP bros..

RAD is 99.5%, 1200 grate, stiff wind 13mph and the acceleration is harder than it was in November. 7870 rpm's.

The differences now are: 1300 waterbox, '05 hull, V-Force cages, Lowell case porting, different jetting.

I got a water leak that is driving me nuts..it's the same leak from Lightnin'.

I cannot tell you how fast this ski accelerates and hits top-end numbers in a blink.

Edited to add, air cleaners were off, with Tommy Jordan's "new" mod...this is an absolute beast of a ski right now.

I am sooooo freaked right now Jerry..you have got to ride this ski. Unreal. The changes I've made over the winter are a quantum leap from last year.

And this is with a 1200 grate! I still have to try a Dynafly prop also.

Wow! 85 mph- you have really got to let that sink in huh? My first ski was a '93 XP- if you would have told guys back then that skis would be capable of these kinds of speed they would have laughed in disbelief.

That is one fast boat- congrats Pistonwash!
