Why cut it open then? Surely you must be required to add extra baffle plates or stainless steel mesh or something.

    Am i missing something here?

You can call Rudy at R Rated and ask what needs to be done. Skip got his modded one from R Rated Performance.

I want one and I'll PAY

After reading ALL of Skip's incredible narrative; this mod is the one I want to do first (well, in addition to the fuel pickup). C'mon capitalists, give me a solution! I just want to buy one and swap it out. It takes 6 minutes and my kid could do it. This would be cheap insurance and give me peace of mind when I ride.

    Thanks,
    LB

    I just caught this one.

NEVER EVER DID I SAY TO CUT OPEN YOUR CATCH CAN....

You really need to read carefully. I was simply showing you the stock baffle inside the catch can. If you wanted something more then ask before you go sawing things apart.......

Crazy what people will go do. Oh well at least its only a $20 part.

Its all cool Skip! We welded baffle plates inside with stainless steel mesh to deflect any oil........Same as we do for the RXP.
