PPG level 1 or Riva Level 1

I searched for a defintive answer and could not find it. I did note that the Riva pump wedge is not worth putting on. I have an 04 RXP 2hours down on break in. Best bang for buck PPG or Riva?? thanks

Riva all the way. The wedge is worth it if you ride in smooth water.

Thanks Jerry, How does the Riva Solas prop compare to PPG Solas prop?

The Riva solas prop is a out of the box "untouched" stock spec's prop, the PPG solas prop is a custom "blueprinted" prop with secret spec's (not a fair comparison) but if you buy one direct from Jerry, i am sure that he can "play" with her a little before he delivered to your hands so you can find the same performance for a much better price than PPG prop

Chris, the "Riva" Solas prop and the "PPG" Solas prop are identical. They are both "Solas" Props. PPG pitch's the prop after you run it if need be. I can help you with the same. The only difference is i dont charge you to pitch your prop

Chris, you should never tweak the prop until you run it on the ski and see where you are at.

    Thanks!

Jerry, just to clarified, my neighbour Malvin PPG solas prop came "tweaked" from his shop since he told him that he had done quite a few to others RXP'S with similar mods and that he already figured out what was the perfect spec's for his ski.

p.s. maybe he use your own ski as the "guinea pig" since at that time you and Malvin had the same mods and your's was kicking a$$ with one of them.

I have the Riva solas and have had PPG tweak it so either way it depends on what you want out of your ski...high top speed or big whole shot.

PPG Tweaked my prop based on the RPMs I was turning with the stock prop installed.

Seems to work Ok I turn 8100-8150, The Solas was apparantly not very good out of the box when it first came out and needed blueprinting.
