    Virage TX Owners Unite!

I may be getting a 2000 Virage Tx.
Please tell me what you like about your boat, and why.

    Comfortable ride?
    Fuel milage?
    Playfulness?
    And above all, any issues?

Gee...I wonder if Dougs triple pipes will work their way into that boat if you get it.

    That sure looks familiar!

We have an '01 and LOVE IT! (when it runs..different thread)

It's very stable, comfortable, easily maneuverable and fast (like a bullet) YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

The issues we're having are curently maddening, but I'm sure we'll get past them. A little more tweeking and we'll be doin' the happy dance all over the water again.

I don't know the actual gas milage (husband would) but it does drink a lot of gas. It's got lots of hungry horses to feed.

Great toy. Lots of fun and did I mention that it goes really fast??

    Wetherby,

If this is none of my business just say so but, did you ever get anything from the guy that killed your ski?

By the way, I have an '02 Virage and it is a great ride. Its not as playful as my kawi but very smooth and stable.

Here's my two '01 baby's today at LA Harbor in the new sand they just put in
Fuel mileage no problem with the club rides-I hold my own against the other newer skis, but the ride is quite exciting flying all over the ocean, so you get a big time work out while the others on the Honda's and GTX's are on a Sunday drive in the chop when over 40mph
I found out this week the ski is really easy to work on!!

I love mine...especially with that little package from Doug! Ski is big enough to ride decent in choppy water, but small enough to still be playful. Ski rides so much better than my SLX, it's unbelieveable. Sure, there are better riding skis, but this is a good balance, IMO. Haven't found a ski yet that I can't run with, granted, there aren't a lot of modded boats nearby...just a couple of RXPs with loud exhausts. Overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10...it will be a 10 out of 10 when I make a 70mph pass.

I like the VirageTX because when it's on the lake, the owner is on the lake with it!
