    Difference in 95 SL750 vs 92 SL650 Intake Grate?

Is there any difference between these grates? I see they have different part #'s on Partsland, and the 92 is discontinued. But I thought all of the SL's were identical? Would this one work?

I noticed my intake grate had gone missing when I was installing my new extended pump, and there isn't a grate on eBay right now for a SL650, but there is one for a SL750.

Interesting. The 2 seaters are all identical I thought. Not sure why they have different part #'s. You shouldn't have any issues with the 750 grate.

Yeah, just looking for something to keep the bigger sticks and weeds out!

Still waiting for a decent day to do my speed test. Took it out twice, but the lake has 2' chop on it. Running close to shore, pissing off the residents, yielded 45mph and 6300 rpm, but the pump kept coming unhooked from the waves. Waiting for a calm day....

Is it just me or does a SL650 steer differently with an extended pump? Felt like I had to "chase" the compass a little....

The grate off of my 94 650 is the same as my 96 SLT. It might have to do with the old pump disign vs the newer style, just guessing.

I'll look forthe grate today! I think it's exactly the same I'll post a pic! I did not notice any real turning issue's but I guess it should change a little due to length? Z
