    68.4 today stock ski

GPS recorded 68.4 today as the fastest. 65.3 was my previous on a very hot and humid Florida day. Today was done around 10AM with cloud cover, standing on the far back leaning down to get out of the wind.

I knew today would be better than my last run of 65.3 because right off the trailor it hit 64.6 without trying to get the most out of it and the tank was full.

Batteries are charging for the digital camera to take a picture of the GPS screen.

On another note, I went 65 miles today before I hit the low fuel alarm.

    You beat me today!

I did 64.1 on gps with just about 1/2 tank in flat fresh water canal
(Markam Park) in Ft. Lauderdale. About 85 degrees, humid, water
temp probable 80. My previous best record was 67.6 back in March.
I have the LX wedge as only mod.
I think it's about time to get Jim's magic ride plate and see what it
    does.

It does look like heat is getting to these guys! Has anyone tried running
it without the seat and maybe a hood scoop to really dump some air
    into it??

I ran without the seat and only got 0.1-0.2 mph gain hardly anything there ,,maybe with other mods may notice it.

It seems my ski runs quickest when there is very slight ripple/chop in the water.

68.9 here in Hawaii today. 85 degrees, out humid as heck, half tank of gas and I was in the water at about 7am. I just figured out how to test RMP mode and once hit 7700. Same as you tom, pump wedge is my only mod. Freinds stalker radar. However accurate that is. It had about a 3" chop in the mourning and was getting about the same within 1mph of going upwind and down wind. We had light breeze of about 10mph. I now have 56 hours on my ultra. Can't wait till tomorrow.

I am not sure what you mean by RMP mode. Thanks.

    Equator factor?

Maybe these Ultra's run faster the closer you get to the equator!
Higher air pressure? Hilo, HI is a lot closer to the equator than the
rest of us! Maybe Hilomikey is just a better rider?

I think you have one of the fastest stock skis so far. A lot of people (myself included) had stock skis that consistantly ran in the mid to upper 67's back in the spring. 68.4 is strong. What were the temps and humidity?

I dont know check zip 32177 for yesterday around 10AM. I would guess temp was in the 70s when I was out. The best I could previously get was 65.3 and that was on a very hot and humid Florida day.

There was a big difference yesterday morning as compared to 65.3 the previous week.

I just went over 10 hours and every time I have it out it gets a little quicker. The 68.4 was a total shock and honestly I do not think I will be able to repeat it for sometime because of weather and conditions. I swear this ski feels so much quicker with a slight ripple running on the water than glass.

I think these skis are all very close but the people who think there ski is slower than others just have not had the right conditions.

The programming on this ski appears to be very temperamental and conservative for hot weather. An example of this is the day I ran 65.3 I ran in the high 63s all day with a best of 65.3, but yesterday I ran high 64s to high 65s all day long, but the day was not as hot or humid.
