The thing I hate about this place is.....

.....there's just so much excellent info that it's hard to absorb it all!!

I read a post about tapping a 1/4" union and installing a carb jet to make your own fuel line restrictor. I've used the search function but can't sem to find it. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, CrazyA posted it. Shoot him a PM and I'd bet he'd hook you up with one. He's a VERY cool guy like that.

I thought it was CrazyA but I wasn't sure. He has a PM waiting in his inbox.

You just proved my point...one of many

I didn't see mention of what size jet to use but Beerdart posted " You could also do this to the last carb exit nipple like the 780 stock carbs" so maybe I have one and don't know it. Since it's 1:50 am I guess I won't know till in the morning.

I got your PM. I see you have been pointed to the thread!!! If you need one, I can ship you one Monday for free, and I will 2 day mail it for ya. I believe the size is .018, but confirm that with someone as I'm not 100% sure. I haven't crossed referenced the sizes either, so I'm not sure what size main jet that would be, but someone would find out real quick I bet if you needed to know!!!

Let me know. I have for you just for the asking should you need or want it!!!

    Thanks for the offer CrazyA!!!

I checked my carbs this morning and the stock 780 carbs have a restrictor built into the exit nipple of the last carb so it looks like I'm covered.

Thanks again for your offer though, you're part of what makes GH the best PWC forum on the net.
