why oh why is the uk so s..t for cane owners

Hi in in the uk and own a 1996 polaris hurricane, the motor has blown big time, but the hull is in mint condition. i have been on several skis but non give me the same thrill as my cane, ride position and drive is raw and fantastic, so i really do wont to get her running again, but it seams parts in the uk for this ski are non or £££££££££££££££££ more than in the us, for example a crank rebuild in the us 275usd exchange which is about £150 uk pounds , in the uk £450 uk pounds to get my crank rebuild , its a total rip off. ever way i turn some one is doubling the price of the parts if its polaris and then adding a bit more if its a hurricane.
i can get anything for a god dam seadoo , new motor ,old motor, motor anything i wont,if it was a doo i would be on the water for £450 uk pounds , but im looking at over £1100 uk pounds to put my cane in the water, its mad,
can any one help with this, is there a good honest uk dealer , or some that might have a 700cc cane engine used for a good price, in gutted cause its mad to see the cheep prices on the us sites
SBT show a full motor built exchange for 699 usd , thats £350 uk pounds i would rip someones arm off for that sort of service, .

    sorry rant over Mick,

(thinking of moving to the usa just so i can cane in paradise)

One reason I left the UK and came to America is due to the cost of living being so high.
