2000 pro 785 timing and stator setting

I need to adjust the timing on my pro and was wondering how to do so. It is at 45 degrees at 3200 rpm and I havnt driven it like this becuase I know it is wrong. Is there a mark on the stator that I align with something on the motor or is it not marked. What is the timing supposed to be at at the different rpms?

The marks lign up with the case halves but the timing says like 45 at 4000 rpm but that must be right if it lighs up exactly.

Adjust the timing to 36 degrees @ 3000rpm's.

I was wondering if your timing was a little too advanced.

The timing turns out to be at 36 degrees. What should I premix at. It seems that I might of premixed it too rich. Will that cause it to kind of be studdery and not run the best? I opened that exhaust valves all the way open but it is running so rich that it wont get past 4500 with the valves open.

premix at 36 to 1 for the first few tanks then you can go 40 to 1 if you want
