RXP Break In RPMs break-in rpm
Well, first off, I just have to say this RXP is Da' Bomb !!!
Here are the RPM's I have been getting during the first 9 hours. I still have not hit 10 yeat, but it's still increasing in RPM as each hour goes buy. Its obvious that the computer is stepping them up in increments as the hours increase.
1 hour 7400-7420
2 hours 7400-7420
3 hours 7700-7720
4 hours " "
5 hours 7800-7820
6 hours " "
7 hours " "
8 hours " "
9 hours 7900-7920
All RPM's are consistent too
GPS'd it today 84 degree water, 91 outside temp, high humidity
1/2 tank of gas 67.7 mph sitting on the seat.
Trim setting 1 or 2 bars above neutral.
Waiting to see what it will do at 10-12 hours.
* Also, I checked the oil, [RIDEALLDAY & 2FUN4U] showed me how to correctly read it in the water after its warm, it is above the top notch on the dipstick.
Question? how much RPM's will it rob from being too full ? Shouldn't it be between both marks, closer to the bottom mark ? just under the top mark ? I've read so many statements over the oil level doing a search.
Thanks in advance Everyone !

It will definately rob you of RPM's being overfilled. Personally, I like to keep it at the bottom mark cold. When its hot it gets half way up the stick.
You are due for oil and filter change, and then you are due for WOT all day

I keep my oil between both marks. Not sure how many RPM's are affected when its over the top mark.
