    rpm's on a 96 slx780

    i was wondering what rpm's should i be running at on a 780 .

    6500 give or take 100, the limiter is set at 6700.

    she was running around 6400 so that wasn't bad i guess

    6400 to 6500 is right there. BTW, I saw a clean 96 SLX780 for sale the other day. It only had 15 hours on it and not a scratch on the bottom of the hull. It literally looked showroom new in the pics. The thing was just broken in with only 15 hours.
