    carbon shaft seal keeps going???

After installing athe Riva stage 1 kit my shaft seal has went twice in 2 hours!! Does it have anything to do with the metal ring in front of the pump that comes with the impeller?

Check your motor mounts, they may be broken. Nothing to do with the pump cone.

boy eveyone drawing a blank on tihs one. just dropped it off at the dealer and he feels that the shaft is moving forward(if thats possible)for some reason. The flange is to far forward although it is snapped on the ring, and it isnt making contact with the seal. About 1/4 inch off........................

Make sure you Power filter pipe isnt laying on the carbon seal. I had rotate the clams on my bellow so the pipe would not lay on it.

There is a plastic cap on the end of the PTO side of the shaft. I would check to make sure it is still there. I would also check the alignment of motor to pump.

i dont have the power pipe, I have the newer type filter. If you are talking about the rubber type boot on the flywheel side of the flange, it was OK it seemed. The motor has never been pulled, could it be out of line?
