Question what's the best setup for choppy water???

i ride on choppy water all the time. what would be the best setup/what else do i need from "Jerry store" for my 05 RXP ????
here is what mod i got so far....

    SC clutch washers
    SD Throttle Conversion kit
    Riva RXP Top-Loader Intake Grade
    Riva Free Flow Exhaust Kit
    SS Wear Ring
    4-Tec Rideplate Skegs

..so, what else do you guys recomend for my ski to get the best on rough water??? ..not necessarily speed BUT for the BEST handling
    thanks in advance

An Ultra 250 would be the best setup for choppy water

Anyways, RE OPAS block-offs would be good. Some aftermarket sponsons too.

a works intake grate will keep you stuck to the water infront of all the rivas

I know it has nothing to do with handling but you should consider a splash guard if you are riding in the rough,it sure does help to see better where you are going.
for the splash guard i would recomend ppg type wich is actually a softer style splash guard not as effective as the jettrim but it does not tear as it can actually bend.

the R & D intake grate with the girdle will save you the trouble of replacing the pump shoe when your grate bolts snap & hooks up better in the rough than the Riva

Can you please explain? I just bought the Riva intake grate and was going to use it along with the pump wedge. Is the R&D better?

The R & D grate has an optional "girdle" that adds 2 more bolts. In the stock setup only the center bolt mounts into metal...the outer two bolts screw into brass bushings in the pump shoe which is plastic......if the grate moves at all it can flex the plastic shoe & evenually crack.....With the girdle you have 3 bolts into metal & a SOLID mount to prevent flexing of the shoe. the downside is that the R & D grate is about 1mph slower in the flat water but hooks up like NOTHING ELSE in the rough.

I haven't done all those mods you've done, but I was working on a similar list, we ride ocean 100% and we need to improve the stability.

Can you give me some feedback on the mods you've done already?

yeh ...lets start with the washer....MUST do..
the Throttle Conversion kit is alsom ,i love it,
the skegs from Jerry...oh...what an improvement...its like riding on a different ski.
my main focus is handling and make the ski stable. i do loooooong rides on rough water http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=27629, http://www.wavejunkies.com/challenge.htm... i think all i need is a RE OPAS block off and i'll be ok.
maybe later i will add some speed improvement element. i hope this help
