RR Engine Mount
I looked at the engine mount today......
Does the RR engine mount fix side to side vibrations or front to back ?
Could you not put 8 dollar JB welb around the base of the stock engine mounts (not cover the bolts) ? Then if you see cracking on the jb weld you know you have some serious vibrations problems.

it fixes side to side, front to back vibrations.
Since i have my engine out i grabbed my front mount and i can move it all over the place. It's very flimsy. I'll be changing mine out!

I'm still new and learning here, but does this cause the wear ring problems that I've been reading about, from the vibrations of the mounts??

Teddy, Franco Dettori (rotax racing) claims that by going with the RR engine mount it reduces wear ring failure.

I ought to make me dinner and fetch me a beer too for as much as it costs. I'm getting sick of the price of parts these days. I'm going to look into making my own mount.

Thanks Jerry, anywho...how much are you supposed to change the wear ring..every 30-40 hours? Does this rob power?
